Registration and Schedule

Blue Heron Wellness uses the MindBody Online system for all workshop, Acupuncture Happy Hour, and class registration. You can register for and view our entire current schedule of workshops here.

Advanced registration is encouraged for all workshops. Late registration may result in additional feesIn the event that BHW needs to cancel a workshop, a full refund or account credit will be offered.

Refunds, minus a 20% administrative fee, are given for workshops when BHW receives at least 48 hours notice. No refunds for workshops are given within 48 hours of the event.

Yoga Nidra: Sleep of the Yogis

Yoga for the rest of us! In our over-stimulated world, many of us live chronically exhausted. Yoga Nidra is a systematic way to obtain complete relaxation that rejuvenates and restores body, mind and spirit. Using guided imagery, body scanning and breath work, students are led into a deep physical relaxation, allowing the mind to release tension and stress. It leaves you feeling completely relaxed and rested and at peace with a more positive outlook than before. No experience necessary. Fee: $25.

T’ai Chi, Qigong, and Meditation will be used to help you find your quiet center, your true nature, in the midst of chaos, internal and external. Explore how to strengthen your body, quiet your mind, tame your emotions, and nurture your spirit using these practices. Practice specific exercises and ways of meditating to take yourself to that quiet place within and be better able to cope with the exigencies of your life. Cost: $25


Connect with Breath, Change Your Practice: Exploring Pranayama

Our bodies change with our breath. Learn ways to use your breath to enhance your yoga practice and useful breathing techniques for on or off your mat. Techniques will include practices that provide coolness, heat and energy, improve digestion, create balance and focus and ground energy. Breathwork will be combined with asana as students are shown and feel the benefits of pranayama.

Essential Oils 101

Essential oils are some of the oldest and most powerful therapeutic agents known to man and have been used for healing and anointing for centuries. Oils used aromatically or applied topically can calm, cleanse, energize, uplift, soothe, and rejuvenate the mind and body. During this informative hands on workshop you will learn and experience how essential oils can be effectively used for health support as well as for balancing the body, mind and spiritual connection.

Friday Night Restoratives
with Carrie Ganz
Fridays, September 30th and October 21st
7:30pm to 9:00pm

Release the week’s stresses and start your weekend feeling refreshed and well-rested! Relax, renew and restore with cool and calming restorative yoga. We start with some slow, gentle movements and then settle into the use of blankets, bolsters, straps, and other props to safely support the body in various postures allowing the body to move towards a state of release and balance. All levels welcome; no yoga experience necessary. Fee: $20/class.
