Pumpkin Hummus ~ Perfect for Halloween Munchies!

This is a unique hummus dish with really interesting flavors.  Great as a dip or as a spread for sandwhichs or wraps.  Feel free to vary seasoning to suit your own level of flavor and intensity.  I am certain you will love this!

1 15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained
6 oz pumpkin puree (look for organic; make sure its not pumpkin pie filling)
1 tsp crushed garlic or to taste
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp sesame tahini paste 
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon (or lime if you want a subtle brightening, less traditional, flavor)
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and puree until hummus is smooth. If mixture is too thick, add water, one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
Taste and adjust for seasonings.  Add a sprinkly of pumpkin seeds to top.
For best flavor, store in fridge for a few hours before serving.
